    William Peace University, a vibrant and diverse independent institution in Raleigh, NC, seeks applicants for a full-time System Administrator.  We are looking for a candidate, who is comfortable with windows system administration, but ready expand their skills and bring new skills to the university.  The systems administrator’s main role will be the operation and maintenance of applications across the enterprise.  This will include account management, access control, backups, patches, upgrades, documentation, user training and process development.  The position will report to the CIO and coordinate with enterprise application and helpdesk staff.  This role will also be responsible for continuous improvement and seeking new technologies to improve service to the University.  This position will be working with the following technologies, Microsoft servers, Active Directory, printing, SharePoint, uniflow print management, Veritas backup, Azure VM, Azure backup, VMware vSphere, G Suite(google apps), Office 365, blackboard transact and SchoolDude ticketing.  WPU is under the new leadership of Dr. Brian C.   • Director of Admissions
    William Peace University, a vibrant and diverse independent institution in Raleigh, NC, seeks applicants for a full-time Director of Admissions.  The Director of Admissions is responsible for the direction, administration, and supervision of all undergraduate strategic recruitment and enrollment initiatives.  In collaboration with faculty, other administrators, and staff, the Director develops and implements a comprehensive and aggressive recruitment plan to attract and enroll a diverse pool of students.  The Director will work with the academic departments and the marketing department to develop effective recruitment materials for the undergraduate programs.     The minimum qualifications for this position are:

    • Bachelor’s degree required.

    • Experience with effective utilization of a Customer Relations Management (CRM) system; Recruiter a plus.
    • Excellent interpersonal, communications, and organizational skills, and public speaking experience.

    William Peace University, a vibrant and diverse independent institution in Raleigh, NC, seeks to appoint a scholar with expertise in the field of English.  The successful candidate will be expected to teach a full-time credit load, engage in service, research and scholarship, student advising, recruiting, and participate in campus-wide events.  The appointment, effective July 1, 2017, will be made at the rank of Assistant Professor. This will be a non-tenure track, fixed-term appointment.  Teaching consists primarily of first-year and third-year general education writing courses and courses in support of the writing major.  Other possible areas of expertise might include:  creative writing, professional writing and ESL instructor training.  Other qualifications might include:  experience as a director of a writing center, supervisor of a campus publication, such as a literary magazine, or advisor to a university sponsored club or organization, such as a creative writing club.  WPU is under the new leadership of Dr. Brian C.
